I saw this already on Comcast OnDemand. I will start by saying that I am a woman in her early 50s, around the same age as the main characters in this film and that actors that play them, and I really wanted to like this movie. I did enjoy it somewhat, as long as I thought about it as if it were a corny made-for-TV movie on the Lifetime network, which is really what it is. But I can't believe this was actually made as a theatrical release. These women are totally NOT believable as supposed former state basketball champs- they can't even dribble convincingly. We are somehow not supposed to notice this? It is one thing to be out of shape, which would be appropriate for the story- but to have no game at all is ridiculous. Add to this trite dialog, flimsy characters, formulaic relationship complications and resolutions... Bottom line, wait until it comes back to cable (which will happen quickly!) and watch it in your pajamas some night when night sweats are keeping you up anyway.
